Xander settled in so naturally that it felt like he had always belonged here. He is our quiet little shadow. He likes sitting beside us while we work, watching everything with curious eyes, but he is never pushy or demanding. When he wants attention, he comes close and waits politely, then melts when we stroke his head. One of our favourite things is seeing him sit by the window and watch birds outside, completely focused, with his tail giving tiny little flicks.
